Secret Sky

Sometimes I ask of sky of his secrets

I beg for his attention and his answers

He refuses to share any

Urging me to go finding instead

He holds me straight when I fall

and falls me when I am too stiff

Laden among the tender clouds

that gather swift energy

churning out an inner anger

to course past directions

hither thither everywhere

I ask of chaos and complain

when he asks me instead

to live with chaotic discipline

‘maps reveal themselves

as you proceed’, says he

so seek the insanity

of disorder to find yourself.
