Its fine I must say

that life came by myside

spread her wings and spoke her heart

a little late in time

its fine really

coz time’s urgency

makes the learnings clearer somehow

the pains have edged out egos for sure

much humbling at the altar of living

breathing.loving, losing and learning to love again

has chastened a spirit too meek, too mild

to step back and take a look or two

and know that what were then impediments

were but steps to a learning curve

a heart stoked in fire not ready to break easy

not again not again but willing to bridge the chasms

deep, deadly and dangerous

and walk ahead, step by step, step by step

to sing the song of the soul

coz the universe standsby and looks down in care

she does. she does.
